THE ST. JOHN'S INDIAN DOG IS A RECREATION OF THE NOW EXTINCT DOG BREED CALLED THE ST. JOHN'S WATER DOG.

DEVELOPED AND BRED BY NATIVE CANADIANS FOR MILLENIUM.   THEY WERE A MIX OF NATIVE CANADIAN DOGS AND THE NEWFOUNDLAND.   THEY WERE USED TO CARRY HEAVY LOADS ON THEIR BACKS, PULL TRAVOIS OR SLEDS WITH HUNDREDS OF POUNDS OF SUPPLIES, OR WILD GAME, OR FIREWOOD, AS WELL AS BEING UTILIZED TO PULL IN HUGE CATCHES OF FISH NETTED BY THE NATIVES FROM THE ST. JOHN'S BAY/ /ATLANTIC OCEAN.

MAJESTIC VIEW KENNELS HAS RECREATED THIS EXTINCT BREED BY MIXING MODERN DAY NEWFOUNDLAND IN WITH THE NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN DOG.

ALL ST. JOHN'S INDIAN DOG PUPPIES ARE HYPOALLERGENIC AND ARE DRY MOUTHED/ NON-DROOLERS.

THEY HAVE NO KNOWN GENETIC OR HEALTH ISSUES. THE ST. JOHN'S IS THE FIRST DOG BRERED EVER TO BE CERTIFIED FOR EVERY ASPECT OF "SERVICE DOG" EVER TRAINED BY THE "PAWS FOR A CAUSE" CANINE TRAINING ORGANIZATION.
